Why Procore?

Form continues to expand and take on diverse and complex projects. These projects involve larger quantities of information and documentation, all of which need managing effectively.

Whether it’s a fast-paced commercial, industrial or public refurbishment project, relying on paper-based processes can be inefficient and time-consuming. In addition, with numerous contributors to the project – consultants, architects, sub-contractors – it is imperative to ensure all information is easily accessible, accurate and always on hand.

This is why we have decided to invest in Procore, an industry-leading construction management platform. Procore provides a secure platform for information exchange and end-to-end project management, consolidating all the project information into a single cloud-based system. The new software will aid collaboration, improve productivity and better track project performance.

“Procore has given us the means to manage the information exchange on our projects in real-time. It shortens the timeframe needed for approvals and allows us to collaborate with duty holders quicker and more effectively.
The benefits of having access to all the information via a mobile device have improved the efficacy of our compliance auditing procedures, allowing our PMs to undertake crucial inspections and reports faster and share the results immediately.” Managing Director, Chris Grenfell.

The Benefits

Giving us a live view of every project

With its reporting tools and dashboards, Procore gives us a live view of project performance, helping everyone involved have a clear understanding of what needs to get done every day to stay on schedule.

Procore also helps us to identify any developing issues in the early stages. With full visibility of how the potential problems can impact the programme and budget, we can make better data-driven decisions and streamline the client approval process.

“One of the many challenges we face on projects is managing changes. Procore enables us to report on and track changes in real-time and provide detailed information to our clients, allowing them to make informed decisions more quickly.” Managing Director, Chris Grenfell.

Bringing project collaborators together

Everyone involved in the project, from the professional team to the supply chain, has access to the latest information in a centralised location and in a format that everyone can understand.

All the information, including the most up to date drawings and site inspection reports, can be uploaded directly to Procore. Data is updated instantly, so nothing is missed, and information logs allow us to track the whole story of the project.

Reducing risks and improving snagging

Procore offers a comprehensive solution to reduce risks with its tools for project management, quality and safety. Leveraging mobile functionality, our team can easily view, update and share documents and inspection reports from the site using their dedicated iPads or mobile phones.

Snagging items can be easily monitored and tracked throughout the project. Recorded snags are entered into the system via identification on a drawing or on-site walk around and supported by photographic evidence for each snag. A snagging report can be downloaded at any time, providing full accessibility and transparency of all snagging as carried out.

Ditching paper for a greener solution

One of the key reasons for choosing Procore is that it significantly reduces our reliance on paper. This supports our commitment to sustainable construction and brings us closer to achieving our goal of being a paperless business. A key responsibility as a refurbishment and fit out contractor in London is to move towards reducing our carbon footprint and find greener ways of working.

“Moving away from paper-based project management is the biggest piece in the puzzle of how a construction company goes paperless.
Gone are the days of drawing racks and lever arch files. We now use Procore to manage our entire delivery system, from weekly checks to change requests and RFIs. This, in turn, provides a more thorough service to our clients.” Managing Director, Chris Grenfell.

We always strive towards making the client journey as professional and stress-free as possible. Investing in new technology gives our team the right tools to close projects on time and to budget and ultimately helps us meet our commitments to our clients.
