Project Goals

Croydon Council envisioned the transformation of Borough’s libraries into modern and inspiring hubs, bringing something new architecturally and service-wise. Working alongside Bisset Adams Architects, we’ve delivered the refurbishment of Selsdon Library and brought client’s vision to life. The users now benefit from a new Open Plus access technology, a designated IT zone, stand-out breakout spaces and children’s reading area.

The team was highly recommended to us and we appointed Form under single tender as it was a very tight, 10 week programme. I was very impressed by the professional manner in which they conducted themselves.

Reshaped

The library refurbishment works started with a strip out of the existing facilities, followed by the installation of new sound-absorbing suspended ceilings, energy efficient lighting and durable floor finishes. The space is finished with a functional and aesthetically pleasing furniture, bold and vibrant graphics, an attractive signage and uplifting images. The refurbishment of Selsdon Library is a staple for further development of all Borough’s libraries.
